Dorset Deaf Children's Society

Our second event for the Easter Holidays was a trip to Weymouth Outdoor Education Centre for the older children aged 10 years upwards. Sixteen young people, split into two groups of eight, came along to enjoy kayaking and rock climbing.

Some of them overcome their fears and took part in activities that they would not normally do. It was also a great opportunity for our young people to meet up with each other and catch up on their news. Although the weather was very changeable we managed to dodge the showers and were very lucky to complete the activities in the dry! 

Apart from those who fell out of the kayaks!
