BOAT TRIP
On Sunday 12th July we had a planned boat trip to Swanage but unfortunately we were unable to sail to Swanage because of windy weather making it dangerous to sail round Old Harry Rocks and land at Swanage Pier. Coastal Cruises then offered us a Jurassic cruise round Pool Harbour and along the coast as far as they felt it was safe.

The weather was great for us on the boat as we had a breeze which kept us cool in the heat. We sailed around Poole Harbour past Brownsea Island and we were able to sail out of the harbour along the coast by Shell Bay towards Old Harry Rocks. Returning to the harbour we sailed past the millionaire homes on Studland of Harry Redknap and a few other famous people.
It was a lovely morning and as a special treat the children were invited to the Captains cabin to have a go at steering the boat!
