HOLLYWOOD BOWL
YOUTH/TEEN EVENT
​On Sunday 9th November, a group of our teens and young people aged 13- 25 were joined by Maddy, Kyle and Yazz for a fun day out at Hollywood Bowling!
We had two rounds of bowling (with our trustee, Kyle being the worst!), shared some plates of nachos and enjoyed burgers and hot dogs down by the lanes. We had great fun, bought out our competitive spirits and ate some lovely food.

After the two rounds of bowling, we went and had a chat away from the noise of bowling balls being thrown, and everyone spoke about their experiences in school, dealing with exams, and chatted about careers and future plans. It was so lovely to see young deaf individuals be able to speak to those who are going through similar experiences, and share their advice and support, which is what these events are all about- making friends and bonding over the unique experience of being a young deaf person.
Overall, we had a great time! Us trustees hope to see even more of our teens and young adults at future events, so do keep an eye out in the newsletter!
