Family Fun Day & Hog Roast
What a great day our members had at our Family Fun Day and Hog Roast/BBQ on Sunday 19th June. It was our eleventh visit to The Orangery near Wimborne for our very popular annual Fun Day. We were so lucky with the weather as despite the forecast we had no rain!

Just under 200 of our members came along for a fun packed day. The Orangery in Wimborne is a great venue with games and activities such as Mini Golf, Badminton, Beach Volley Ball, Basketball, Petanque, Table Tennis, Giant Chess, Football Table, Climbing Net and a giant Connect Four. DDCS also organised the very popular inflatables which this year included the Super Heros inflatable obstacle course, Giant Slide and Dudley the Dinosaur.
Jules the Entertainer entertained everyone during the day doing circus trick workshops, balloon making and a show. We again had our brilliant face painters Joanna (Lilliana’s mum) and Cresta. We also had a visit from Hearing Dogs for the deaf and the Photobooth was available to have some fun and get some silly pictures!
The Hog Roast and BBQ was provided by Roast around the Coast who worked hard to give a great service and the food was excellent. Ice creams were also available for everyone.
