Marwell Activity Day
On Sunday 21st May eighty six DDCS members went along to Marwell Activity Centre for a fun filled day of activities. Forty three children and young people took part and were split into four groups. Three groups for the over 8 year olds doing Aerial Adventure, Quad Bikes, Zip Wire, One group for the 4-7 year olds who did Go Carts, Assault Course, Zip wire and were able to have a go on the climbing wall. Well done to Matthew Turner who managed to get to the top of the wall!! The soft play barn was available for the under 4 year olds who had come along with their families.
The weather held and luckily we had no rain. DDCS provided tea, coffee, cake and biscuits during the day and Marwell provided squash for the children and young people. Families brought picnics or had lunch in the café and were able to enjoy the playground at lunch time.
