Marwell Activity Day 2015

On Sunday 24th May we descended on Marwell Activity Centre for what is starting to become a popular bi-annual visit for DDCS in the years that we don't run our PGL residential event.

This year a total of 38 children and young adults brought their parents along to watch them undertaking the daredevil activities we had planned for them.

The younger group of 4 - 7 year olds got stuck into a menu of Go Karts, Assault Course and Zip Wire. The two 8 - 15 years groups were treated to Quad Bikes, Archery and Aerial Adventure activities, while the older group of 16 years + sampled the delights of Off Road Quads, Zip Wire and the Assault Course.

Parents were free to relax and enjoy chatting with hot and cold refreshments provided or chase round after their childs group in the hope of getting that elusive photo showing fear on their childs face!

The weather was perfect with some sun and some cloud and the rain that was forecast not arriving until we were leaving or on the way home, but Im sure there were a few washing machines working through the night cleaning muddy clothes still!
