Family Fun Day & BBQ 2014
We met up for the forth year in a row at The Orangery, Merley for our family fun day on Sunday 27th July. We had 157 people come along and once again the sun was shining.

We had live music to greet people as they arrived with Sarah on her saxaphone creating a lovely ambiance with her wonderful sounds drifting around the gardens.

We had two large inflatables this year, the ever popular giant slide and a pole jousting inflatable for those that felt the urge to whack each other with hand held pillows while sat on a slippery pole four feet above the ground - and plenty did, again and again in some cases!
​
On the menu at lunchtime was a free BBQ offering the adults chicken, burgers and salad, with wedges and hotdogs for the children. We also had an ice cream van after lunch.
​
The childrens entertainers were around all day doing party tricks and put on a show in the afternoon which was well attended by many of our families. Add the always popular face painting to this and the day was once again a great success with plenty to do for all and giving our families the chance to get together, make new friends and discuss similar issues in a relaxed and safe outdoor enviroment.
