Dorset Deaf Children's Society

A new venue was chosen for this years Christmas party as this ever popular event was proving to be a bit of a squeeze at the old venue. So we headed to The Blandford School in Blandford Forum where we had use of their huge cafeteria and dining rooms. With over 150 people attending we had loads of room for everyone and everything and space to spare.

So - what did we have arranged for a busy afternoon ? ? Well; We had craft tables and a quiz to keep the children (and some of the parents) entertained at the start. We had a lovely finger buffet with plenty of delicious food for all. We had hot and cold drinks. We had christmas music playing. We had christmas crackers. We had a childrens entertainer, Andy the Magic Man doing magic tricks and giving away balloon shapes. Most of all - we all had a good time and hopefully made some new friends.

Then, at the end, we were lucky enough to get a visit from Father Christmas and his helpers who brought presents for all the children who went home happy and a little tired.
