Wild Thing at Adventureland

For the February half term break we arranged a day out for our members at the indoor fun complex Wild Thing opposite Bournemouth Airport. Unfortunately this year we were unable to provide a superstar celebrity for the photoshoot ( Last year we met Howard Donald from Take That who lives locally) but we did find a big cuddly toy to get in the photos !!!

 44 of our members and their families met up in the car park at 11am and Dorset Deaf Childrens Society funded the entrance fees for everybody.We were pleased to welcome some new members along for the day and hope to see them again soon. Once inside the children were free to play all day in the huge ballpits and adventure games area while the parents had time to chat with each other and catch up with the news since we last got together at Christmas. Our thanks go to Adventureland who provided us with a seperate room at no cost for people to chat and eat their lunch.
